ABOUT THE PARTNERSHIP

On the corner of Houston and Ludlow, Stance was pleased to kick off the very first event in the ‘Social Club’ series with an intimate dinner in New York City at one of the most iconic restaurants of all time, Katz's Delicatessen. Established in 1888, Katz’s Delicatessen is one of the oldest delis in New York, making it a landmark within Manhattan, and a popular destination among locals, visitors, and celebrities. Katz's pastrami and corned beef sandwiches are the gold standard for an authentic NYC deli experience, thanks to their emphasis on traditional slow-curing processes and hand-cut slicing techniques. Today, Katz's serves thousands of hungry customers daily, both in the restaurant, and throughout the country via their nationwide shipping service.


All dinner guests were treated to a luxe, custom-made Stance x Katz’s camo apron, one pair of the exclusive Stance x Katz’s socks, and a custom-made Stance x Katz’s Social Club mustard bottle. The event drew several NYC influencers, including sneaker moguls Ronnie Fieg, Yu-Ming Wu, and Wendy Lam, as well as artists Neckface, B. Thom Stevenson, Stretch Armstrong, and BJ Betts, among many others.This special collaboration with Katz’s includes two limited-edition socks, reminiscent of iconic items found within, or made famous by, the deli. The first takes cue from their nostalgic ticketing system, an item every patron receives upon entering the restaurant. The second is designed with camouflage and inspired by their slogan derived from a family tradition of sending food to their sons in the armed forces: “Send a Salami to Your Boy in the Army.”
